What are Action Teams?
Action Teams are youth communities dedicated to contributing directly to the community. Teams consist of small groups of students who meet regularly to discuss and execute plans of direct action—this can range from the expedition of environmental bills to the research of local issues. There are currently three teams: the political activism team, the research team, and the presentation team.

THE POLITICAL ACTIVISM TEAM
The political activism team is focused on the propagation of environmental policy. This can mean looking into legislative bills, writing think-pieces on the current state on environmental politics, or creating graphics on the @politicseco instagram to educate the public about political activism. This team is meant for those who look to the government as a main means to save the environment and for those who can strongly advocate for the ideals that they believe in.
THE RESEARCH TEAM
The research team delves deep into issues and delivers the information through more intuitive means. This includes analyzing the hard data behind a specific issue and organizing it into simple graphs and tables. Members will learn how to use data analytical tools, such as Google Trends. This team is great for those who are interested in gaining a more intimate knowledge of local issues.
THE PRESENTATION TEAM
The presentation team constantly produces educational material to educate the general public about environmental issues. They utilize a wide range of unique mediums to spread awareness— from stop-motion animation to social media challenges, the action team has done it all. This team is great for those who are creative, artistic, or those who just have the drive to teach others to be more environmentally conscious.
