Climate Change
There are many steps that can be taken to help help prevent climate change

1. Reduce water waste! It takes a lot of energy to pump water. So by reducing the amount of water waste, the amount of carbon pollution produced is reduced.

2. Think about your mode of transportation. Attempt to replace driving a vehicle with walking or biking. Or, invest in a
fuel-efficient vehicle. Less fuel used allows for lower amounts of air pollution.

3. Lower the amount of wasted food. 10% energy is used for the manufacturing of food. By buying less food and avoiding the wastage of food, it cuts down on energy consumption.

4. Vote smart. With electing for representatives, vote for those that will fight for this cause in office.

5. Recycle. Through the process of recycling, no greenhouse gases are emitted. Along with this, recycling is eco-friendly and cost efficient.

What's the Problem?

By definition, climate change is the change in global temperatures. In the last few years, the temperatures on Earth have reached an all time high. The sea levels are rising, glaciers are melting, and plants are not blooming. All these irreversible and catastrophic changes are due to human activities. Gases in the Earth's atmosphere are blocking heat from escaping. And this is caused from the burning of fossil fuels to power factories, cars, and more. Change needs to happen soon. And if not, the Earth will become inhabitable.

Pollution
What can we do to lessen the effects of pollution?

1. Think before you dispose. In relation to water pollution, do not dispose of chemicals or fats by dumping them down the sink. Throw these products away in their respective 2places of disposal.
2. Avoid using a garbage disposal. Again, in relation to water pollution, try to keep food solid and use these leftovers to create a compost.
3. Use less gas. In terms of air pollution, avoid using equipment that runs off gas. Attempt to drive vehicles that are electric and use electric or hand-powered lawn care equipment.
4. Reduce the usage of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. The use of these inorganic products can lead to increasing land pollution. Chemical fertilizers and pesticides can contaminate the soil and harm the environment.
5. Reduce Deforestation. To help limit land pollution, stop excessive cutting of forests and in turn, plant more trees to protect the land from floods and soil erosion. Along with this, more trees leave the land fertile and increase the biodiversity.

What's the Problem?

Pollution is filling our landfills, intoxicating the air we breathe, and contaminating our fresh water. Garbage is overcrowding our landfills and Interrupting ecosystems. Landfills are filling and now, the earth is drowning. Our land is being stripped of its natural nutrients and become filled with toxins. We need to change our ways and save Earth before it's too late.
